ATELIER NOIR · Fit & sizing

Find your fit.

A few careful measurements are a useful starting point. Choose your size using the chart for the exact piece you plan to wear.

01 / Begin with your measurements

A simple starting point.

Use a flexible measuring tape. Stand naturally and keep the tape comfortably against your body, without pulling it tight.

  1. Chest / bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust. Keep the tape level around your back and your arms relaxed.

  2. Waist

Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrower part of your torso. Keep your posture relaxed and breathe normally.

  3. Hips

With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

  4. Inseam

For a useful garment comparison, lay a well-fitting pair of trousers flat and measure along the inner leg seam from the crotch seam to the hem. Compare with the product’s garment inseam when available.

Size labels alone cannot establish fit. International size equivalents, stock availability and specific fit recommendations must be confirmed for each product.

03 / Useful to know

Fit questions.

A few considerations before choosing a size.

Are body and garment measurements the same?

No. Body measurements describe your body; garment measurements describe the finished piece. A garment may include extra room for movement and its intended silhouette. Compare measurements using the chart’s stated method.

What if I am between sizes?

Check the fit description and measurements for the specific garment. Consider how you plan to wear it, including any layers underneath. Without a confirmed chart, this demo cannot reliably recommend sizing up or down.

Do all products fit the same way?

A tailored jacket, relaxed trouser and fine knit can have different proportions. Check each product individually rather than relying only on the same size label.

Can I use measurements from a garment I already own?

Yes, as a comparison when the product chart provides garment measurements. Measure a similar piece that fits comfortably and use the same measuring method. Do not compare a flat garment width directly with a body circumference.

Does selecting a size confirm availability?

No. The current size selectors are part of a demo. A connected store must confirm stock and availability before accepting an order.
